Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves. I prefer to wear mine around my neck, so I was thrilled when Miss B said SimaG Jewelry wanted to participate in The Bright Side Project. I am a mommy to two impossibly cute little boys (aren’t they all?), and I can’t think of a better way to keep them close to my heart when I am in meetings or behind my computer trying to beat the latest deadline. Designer and owner Sima Gilady must feel the same way, because her jewelry is nothing short of a declaration of love stamped on precious metal. And even if you don’t have kids, there must be someone or some thing that makes your heart pitter-patter. Children, beaus, fuzzy-wuzzy fur babies, yourself (right on!), or the perfect mascara—if you love it, declare it. Gilady is letting one lucky reader choose between two of her most popular designs: the De Colores or Gold Disc. The De Colores has three beautiful discs of copper, silver, and gold on an 18” gold filled chain. Upon each 1/2” disc, you can have stamped the letter of your choice. The Gold Disc is larger at 3/4” and comes on an 18”- 20” chain. Since it is larger, Sima will stamp up to three letters of your choice. Of course, if you are one of those coy girls who like to keep people guessing, you can elect to wear the discs plain. SimaG Jewelry has something for everyone. What isn’t there to love about that?

My name is Sima Gilady, and I am a mother of 4 beautiful kids: 2 big girls and 2 little boys.
I love my life, my kids and my husband who always supports my work and crazy ideas. I LOVE my job, and I believe it shows. All my jewelry is made with LOVE. In my former life, I was an esthetician. I had to close my store after I had a hard time with my third pregnancy. I wanted to be home with my kids and be there when they come home from school. Art & Jewelry has been my passion in my life, so staying home has been a blessing in many ways. Sima's favorites:
My favorite shape is a spiral: I have a huge collection of plates, post cards, snails, in spiral shapes. You can see my love of spirals in my jewelry designs, as well.
Favorite Place:
My favorite place is the Bahamas. We were there last June, and I would give anything to go back to that most beautiful place.
Favorite CD:
I am from Israel, and moved to Boulder Colorado 18 years ago. I miss my family so much, so to stay in tune with my native culture and language I listen to Idan Raichel Project
Favorite Movie:
My favorite movie of all time is Princess Bride. "As you wishhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Just follow your heart!
