I am a firm believer that when something is created out of love, it shows. There is an intangible beauty that lives in authenticity, a simple perfection that cannot be faked. Sima Gilady, of Sima G Jewelry, is a shining example of my theory at work. Gilady looks at each custom design as an opportunity to share in the life of the family she is creating for and translates this respect and honor into beautiful pieces destined to be handed down generation after generation. I have a hard time deciding which pieces I would want to add to my collection and find myself justifying the purchase of a small handful. The “My Three Wishes” necklace would be stamped with three reasons to be grateful every single day. The “Circle of Joy” necklace (featuring the very first stamped spiral design on Etsy) has me penning multiple options, begging the purchase of more than one. The simple and unique design of the “Sweet Heart” necklace is so beautiful I actually gasped out loud when I saw it. If that’s not a testament to beautiful design, I don’t know what is. Sima G Jewelry is a tangible reminder to enjoy the life we’re living. These unique and custom designs serve as gentle nudges toward the authentic in all of us. Sima Gilady loves what she does. It shows.
